Lisa Duncan has had a lifelong involvement with the American Saddlebred. She is an owner, breeder, and exhibitor. Some of the horses that she has owned and/or shown are CHChandler, CHShe’s Gone Blonde, CHBravo Blue, and CHWhat Was I Thinking.
Soon after graduating from the University of Kentucky, Lisa began her employment with ASHA as a customer service representative for the Registry in 1987. She served as an ASHA Board member, as well as Vice President and President of the American Saddlebred Registry during a twelve year hiatus to raise her children. During this time, she also served on the USEF Saddlebred Committee, Fayette County 4-H Council, the Bluegrass Fair Horse Show Committee, Kentucky Spring Premier Horse Show Board, worked at the UPHA Incentive Sale, and also worked in the office at Tattersalls. Lisa returned to the Registry staff in 2012, and currently holds the position of Registrar. She can also be found working in the office at the Robertson Sale.
Lisa and her husband, Robert, have two children and reside in Lexington, KY.
